Woman arrested for punching drunken son

The sheriff’s department arrested a  42-year-old-woman and charged her with domestic assault after she allegedly struck  her son while arguing with him at their Young Ridge Road residence on Feb. 12.
According to Sheriff Patrick Ray, a deputy dispatched to investigate reports of a fight in progress at a home on Young Ridge Road spoke with Glenda Bogle and her son, 20-year-old Brent J. Bogle.
Ray said that Brent Bogle had been drinking alcohol and wanted to leave the residence, but his mother would not allow it.
The two reportedly argued, and Glenda Bogle allegedly hit Brent Bogle in the face with her fist.
Brent Bogle was cited for underage consumption.
She is under a $2,500 bond and will appear in court on Feb. 28.
He will also appear in court on Feb. 28.
Corey Robert Winchester, 26, was charged three times over a five-day period for driving on a suspended license.
The first arrest came on Jan. 28.
Ray said that a deputy spotted a vehicle being driven erratically on Sink Creek Road and tried to stop the vehicle near the intersection of Sink Creek Road, Haley Road, and Roy Womack Road.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly pulled up to a residence and drove behind the house.
The deputy followed the vehicle with his blue lights still activated and shown his spotlight into the passenger side window.
The officer allegedly saw Winchester, the driver, swapping seats with a female passenger.
Ray said the deputy knew that Winchester's license was suspended, having already given him a warning for the offense.
A check confirmed that his license were suspended for failure to pay child support on Nov. 6, 2010.
Five days later, on Feb. 2, Winchester was charged twice for the same offense.
Ray said a deputy saw Winchester driving a vehicle at the intersection of Miller Road and Highway 146.
Winchester reportedly stopped in the street, got out of the car, and started walking.
The officer, knowing that Winchester's license was suspended, obtained a warrant against him.
Later that day, a sheriff's department drug detective saw Winchester come out of Walmart, get into an automobile, and drive away.
The detective reportedly followed Winchester to Greenwood Drive and arrested him again.
His total bond is $7,500 and he will be in court on all the charges Feb. 28.
 Felicia Ann Moore, 23, was cited for possession of a Schedule III drug on Jan. 26.
Ray said a sheriff's department drug detective found Moore in the passenger seat of a vehicle which had been stopped for a light law violation.
According to the sheriff, Moore told the detective that she had pills inside her body cavity.
Moore was brought to the jail, where eight Lortab (10 milligram) and 13 Vicodin tablets, both Schedule III drugs.
She will appear in court on Feb. 14.
Jared Scott Atnip, 32, was charged with public intoxication on Jan. 28.
Ray said that while Atnip was in a courtroom he was noticed to be very unsteady on his feet and to have problems standing.
Atnip was found to be under the influence and he was brought to the jail for booking.
His bond is $2,500 and he will appear in court on March 11.
Terra Elizabeth Taylor, 34, was cited for possession of a Schedule II drug (oxycodone), a suspended license, violation of the financial responsibility law (no insurance), and failure to maintain a lane of travel on Feb. 3.
After leaving the roadway on Brush Creek Road in Alexandria and hitting a mile-marker sign Ray said Taylor could not provide a valid license or proof of insurance.
She was allegedly in possession of seven small round blue tablets, believed to be Oxycodone.
Her license was suspended in Wilson County in 2005.
She will appear in court on Feb. 21.
Autumn Danielle White, 38, was charged with public intoxication on Feb. 3.
Ray said a deputy found a vehicle parked in the roadway on Vandergriff Road.
When he stopped to check the automobile, he allegedly found White passed out in the passenger seat with the smell of an alcoholic beverage on her person.
White reportedly told the officer that she had been present where methamphetamine was being cooked earlier that day.
Her bond is $1,500 and she will be in court on Feb. 28.
