Woman charged for stuffing bra

A woman used her bra for purposes other than what it was intended for this past week when she was caught trying to smuggle drugs into the county jail.

The woman, Ashley D. Geekie, 29, is charged with bringing contraband into a penal institution.

She was charged as she was being booked into the jail for something else.

“A female corrections officer was doing a preliminary pat down when she found an Altoid can in her bra,” said Sheriff Patrick Ray.

Inside the breath mint can was a peach-colored pill which officers identified as being suboxone. The drug is an opioid used to treat opioid addiction, acute pain and chronic pain.

“She admitted it was suboxone,” the sheriff noted, pointing out that despite it being one pill, it is illegal to bring any contraband, whether it be drugs, tobacco, cell phones or any restricted items into the jail.
