A local woman faces charges fraudulent use of a debit/credit card after allegedly using another person’s card at a local business.

According to Sheriff Patrick Ray, Dori Leigh Keith, 45 used another person’s Discover credit card at a Dollar General Store in DeKalb County four times in April getting $40 cash back each time.

Ray said Keith used the card two time on April 26 charging $5.43 and $5.49 and getting $40 back cash on both occasions. She reportedly used the card twice on April 28 as well, charging $3.69 and for $7.68 and getting $40 cash both times.

The case was investigated by a Sheriff’s Department Detective.

Her bond is $6,000, and her court date is July 13.

Meanwhile, Billie Jo Morris, 44, was charged with criminal trespass on June 24.

The sheriff said a deputy responding to a Tabernacle Road home because of a complaint of an unwanted guest learned from the homeowner that Morris, the unwanted guest, had already left the residence.

Morris returned to the property while the deputy was still on the scene, however. An investigation revealed that an officer had been summoned to the same residence for the same reason on June 1, and Morris was advised at that time not to return to the property. The homeowner also reportedly told Morris to stay away.

Her bond is $1,500 and her court date is July 13.
