Brandi McPheron, 35, faces charges on six counts of prescription fraud. According to Smithville Police Chief Randy Caplinger, an officer took a statement from a representative from Rite-Aid in Smithville on Oct. 21, and the employee of the drug store told him that beginning on Aug. 11 someone had called in prescriptions six times, each time for 60 Tramadol tablets, in the name of Kari Stevens, and McPheron had signed for and picked the medication up on each occasion. The caller allegedly stated that they were representing Dr. William Zeller of Mercy Clinic Family Medicine in Hollister, Missouri.
