Tracy Ann Thomason, 28, was arrested and charged with two counts of theft of property under $500 on Feb. 8. According to police reports, Sergeant Andy Snow was dispatched to investigate a stolen-property call at an event at the Smithville Church of God on West Broad Street. While on his way to the call, the sergeant was informed that the suspect had left the church and was walking east on Broad Street with members of the church following.Snow reportedly made contact with Thomason on Whaley Street, and found two stolen wallets in her purse.
