One woman was injured when she crashed her Pontiac on Short Mountain Highway just after noon Sunday. The THP said that Lacie Nichole Hamilton, 28, was traveling north on Highway 146 in a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am when she crossed the center line, exited the roadway on the left side, and struck a utility pole. Authorities said that Hamilton was carrying a small child, who was apparently not injured in the wreck.
