A 53-year-old woman wanted on a Florida cocaine charge was arrested by the sheriff’s department on May 8.

Vickie Lynn Holliman is charged with being a fugitive from justice. Sheriff Patrick Ray said that Holliman was found at a residence on Eagle Creek Road and a check through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) revealed that Holliman was wanted in Hillsboro County, Florida for conspiracy to traffic cocaine. Florida authorities have confirmed that they will extradite Holliman.

Meanwhile, Henry Thomas Butler, 28, was charged with a third offense of driving on a revoked license and cited for expired vehicle registration on May 8.

The sheriff said a deputy was patrolling on Highway 70 when he spotted a white Chrysler car with an expired license plate. The officer made a traffic stop and spoke with the driver, Butler.

A check revealed that Butler’s license was revoked for failure to show proof of insurance in Smith County. He has two prior offenses for driving on a revoked license, in December 2008 and May 2014.

His bond is $4,000 and his court date is June 18.
