Everyone walked away after a two-vehicle wreck on West Broad in which one of the vehicles plunged into a flood-swollen stream in front of Walmart Thursday morning. Police say Catherine Newby, 74, of Smithville was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima, and was pulling out onto West Broad from Anthony Avenue, when she crossed the path of a 2011 Jeep, driven by Tammy Harris, 50, of Murfreesboro. She was going east on Broad Street.
