The DeKalb Middle School Saints Soccer team had two home games last week, and came away with two conference wins.
On Tuesday, The Saints were on their home field, taking on visiting Jackson County.
Jackson County found themselves in a 1-0 deficit after a strike from Saints' Juan Ortega, and he didn't stop there. Ortega put three more in the back of the net, leading the Saints to a 4-0 victory.
The following Thursday, the Saints played host to the Smith County Owls. After an aggressive first half, the Saints found themselves with a 2-0 lead. They didn't stop there. DMS put three more goals in, and only gave up a goal late in the game. Final score 5-1.
Juan Ortega had three goals in the game, while Leo Delgado and Bryan Ramirez each had one.
