Local woodcarver David Sharp was visited by the crew from the PBS show “Tennessee Crossroads” Friday, and is the subject of a segment set to be aired in January or February.Sharp began carving in 2006 when he was talked into taking a class and he discovered that he had a knack for the art. Within two years he was teaching others to carve.“I really got started by mistake,” Sharp told the Review. “We took a trip to the Smoky Mountains and I got talked into doing a class.
