The DeKalb County Board of Education voted Monday night at a special-called meeting to adopt their budget plan for 2106-17. In a brief meeting preceded by a workshop, the board voted unanimously to adopt the plan. Members of the DCHS Quarterback Club were allowed to speak at the workshop, and asked that the board come up with a plan to fix a problem with inequities in pay for the DCHS football, basketball, and cheer coaches.
